Cleaning soap scum w/o harsh chemicals....
I need ideas on how to clean soap scum off of tiles in my bathroom without using harsh chemicals. Any suggestions?

Baking soda should work with a bit of elbow grease. Have you also tried Norwex cloths? They have a great bathroom mit that has a scrub side to it. It just might work. Let me know if you would like to borrow mine to try it before you buy one yourself.

I see they are selling Norwex products at the Home Show this weekend in Calgary. Stop by and see the abodebook site if you go. Booth 411. Just sayin.

Home Depot cleaner
OK - may not meet your no harsh chemicals criteria but Zep soap scum cleaner from Home Depot very good. You do need to work in a ventilated area though. Otherwise, I agree with baking soda, elbow grease and vinegar.

Agreed, Zep 'tub and tile' removes everything with little or no effort. Ventilation a must and never mix with other chemicals. This is a staple at our house, reserved only for the most stubborn of stains.

Check this website out for a homemade, eco friendly way to clean soap scum in your shower: http://www.simpleorganizedliving.com...hower-cleaner/
Step #1: Pour any amount of white vinegar into a plastic spray bottle {I started with about 6 oz.}
Step #2: Heat it up in the microwave until very warm. {you do NOT need to reheat it every time you want to clean your showers}
Step #3: Pour the same amount of Dawn dish soap into the spray bottle.
Step #4: Put the top of the spray bottle on and gently shake until they are combined.
That’s it!!
Just 2 simple ingredients and about 5 minutes of your time and you have a very inexpensive, homemade shower cleaner that works wonders on soap scum and smells great too!
NOTE: This cleaner is also great for removing greasy buildup in the kitchen!
